Lots of complaints on this dryer on epinions.com.
Here is what i have done. I have by passed the two relays in the panel.
Motor and heat relays.
also, by passed the thermistor and temp fuse on the bottom of unit.
i checked the heat coil and it only gets 120volts to one side of the coil.
the original computer board is the AP6015194 is now w10116565
before i order this part. is there a way to bypass this board and connect the other side of the 220 volt directly to the coil and see if the heat comes on. i dont see any problems in doing this but want to check with the experts before i set my home on fire since i am self taught “ham” in electronics.
or is there a way to test the board before i replace it since others have done this and it still did not heat. i am only bypassing to solve the problem.
