Your model number looks like it is missing at least 3 digits probably at the front.

Even with a full model number there is no guarantee that a manual or wiring diagram can be found.
Kenmore sells just about every make out there with a Kenmore badge on it.
So any additional info as to the units name etc. may help.

model # on kenmore elite is 110.96591200

I could not find any info on your unit other than it is actually a Whirlpool.
I think your wiring diagram will be close to this, but am doing some guessing here

Check inside the units control console , they often put the wiring diagrams in there.
Sounds like you are getting power to the unit but would not hurt to check it.

A prime suspect is the thermal fuse in the motor’s circuit.
This is mounted on the blower assembly.
There will be two devices on the blower one is the operating thermostat, the other is a thermal fuse (cut-off).
Remove one wire from it and check it with a meter, should be 0 ohms.
Thermostat should also be 0 ohms but this has nothing to do with starting the motor.

Jiggery Pokery method if you do not have a meter.
Unplug the unit
Remove both wires from the fuse and tape them together so they make good contact and cannot short to anything.
Plug the unit in and give it a try.
If the fuse is blown replace it ASAP as it is a critical safety device to protect against lint/house fires.

Also clean/check your vent system as this is the most common cause of the fuse blowing.

Here is a good site with general dryer repair help.

thanks for the advice, will try your suggestions.
