I have a Kenmore 90 series dryer that will randomly stop in the middle of it’s cycle. It will do this with the timed and the automatic but not with the air dry. Once it’s stopped I can simply hit the start button and it will start back up without any delay in between. Was wondering what I could do to fix it.

Well, this is not a cut and dry issue. It could be the motor, but, most likely not, because it comes right on after it shuts off. There is also a small power relay behind the control panel, that it could be, but it ehen it goes, the dryer will start, until you let go of the start switch. I think I would go with the electronic board, behind the control panel. There could be a relay, that is messing up on it. It is the most expensive, but if it were me, that is where I would start first. The part # is W10116565. Alrighty we are going to try to take a look at the electronic board and check for any bad relays my boyfriends pretty good at stuff like that. I’ll let you know what we find. Thanks!
