Brand:Kenmore Model Number:110.27612600 Main Symptom: Are the 285790 clutch band 6 puck pads suppose to wobble? 3 puck? Sold on amazon What happens & when:
I bought a 285790 clutch linen on amazon and the 6 pucks wobble or arent solid to the steel part of the clutch linen like the previous clutch that had purchased. Are they suppose to do this and why or are these bad and anyone know which on amazon which be the OEM whirlpool packaged part or equivalent to factory. Why do some have 3 clutch pads and are they the same strength as the 6 puck? Let me know looking for the correct replacement clutch linen or assembly 285785 or 285790.

The correct OEM clutch assembly for washer model 110.27612600 is (285790 Clutch Band And Lining Kit | Genuine Whirlpool OEM In Stock ) . The 3-pad clutch is the current replacement and is comparable to the older 6-pad version. The pads should be firmly attached and should not wiggle.
I seen in a video you installed 2 91939 seals stacked on top of each other. You can install just one 91939 or two seals for a better seal with the lower 427 seal under it? What is the small seal that goes under that one on the top side ending in 427? Its also used in the clutch gear agitator shaft lower interernal seal? Not the external exterior transmission case top seal.
I believe so there is directly one seal under the 91939 seal correct? Would this be the same seal? Trying to fix a water leak that goes thru the agitator shaft seal. It had needed a new clutch and neutral drain kit. That fixed the no spin issue and slow spin with clutch slipping. However on the hard or fast agitate on small it leaks thru the agitator shaft when agitating violently the seal was gone when i had did replaced the neutral drain and clutch and real rusty on the shaft. i didnt replace the seal but need to change the top agitator shaft seals to prevent leaks as well as possibly the 2 bottom seals the spin tube fits in under the spin tube bushing from 285203 kit.
