What was the original issue that led to the board being replaced?

After replacing the control, wet clothes usually means it’s not reaching high spin or not draining fast enough.

Check in this order:

  1. Run Drain & Spin with an empty tub. This model’s Drain & Spin uses high-speed spin to reduce water in loads.

  2. Watch if it drains fully before spin. If water is left in the tub, check drain hose, pump, restrictions, and standpipe.

  3. Lid lock / shifter issue. If it drains but never ramps to high spin, suspect lid lock feedback, actuator/shifter, belt/splutch, or motor circuit.

  4. Run diagnostics and pull fault codes. Do this before replacing more parts. Tech sheet W10838047A covers service diagnostic modes for CAE2745 models.

  5. Verify correct board/programming. If the board was replaced and problem remains, confirm the replacement control is correct for CAE2745FQ2 and any setup/calibration was completed.
