Main Symptom: Dishwasher keeps turning on
What happens & when: The dishwasher control panel will turn on by itself very often and stays on for a period of time. When we try to cancel it, sometimes the control panel reacts to our touches else it will be stuck in the default mode.

I haven’t really been able to power cycle as the plug is hidden behind the dishwasher - like this when we bought the property. :confused:

In the meantime, I managed to get the wifi and app set up again so hopefully can cancel easily through the app or get it started.

One other thing I noticed is during a cycle, the time display will keep flashing, I can’t remember if it’s two dashes or something and back to the remaining time. A 1-hour cycle seems to take longer now but it does complete, I think.

Is this a logic board or control panel issue? Greatly appreciate any insights. Thank you.

It sounds like this may be a keypad panel failure. If you quickly press the Cookware, Normal, then Crystal buttons and repeat this pattern 2 more times, the dishwasher should go into a diagnostic test mode. An error code should appear at the beginning and at the end of the diagnostic test mode (if an error was identified by the main control), which is around a 20 minute process. Does an error code appear in the display, and if one does, what is the error code?
