Is this a water-inlet injector? can I use a generic replacement?

Have you seen the part pictured in the file attached (shown down at the bottom)? The closest ones I found in the catalog are AP6005883, AP6005726, AP6013625, AP6005846. Can I use any of them as a “generic” replacement? I’m guessing this part is called a “water-inlet injector”. Here’s my best description of it: it’s a hard plastic part with a wide “head” or “cap” that stays inside the tub and a thin long cylinder “body” that sticks out of the tub where it’s connected to a silicon flexible tube. The head broke off thus the tube is leaking. I found a related thread though I’m not sure I need all those parts (nozzle, injector valve, sleeve).
Thanks!

Hi. Just wondering if anyone has the answer for my original question.
Thanks!

I think I finally found exactly the part that I need: AP4546590
Unfortunately it’s out of stock, though. I’ve placed an order anyways, hoping that I’ll be suggested an alternative part. Perhaps a more recent version of the dishwasher model that I have would do it.

Forgot to mention where I found the dishwasher diagrams:

http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/getSubComp.pd?modelNumber=DDW396W&productCategoryId=0130000&brandId=3055&brandDescription=DANBY&modelName=DISHWASHER&diagramPageId=00004&componentDescription=MAIN%20UNIT%20PUMP%20ASSY&documentId=50031852&blt=06

My part is # 40 in that diagram (thus 396.40 is the full part number).
