Parts or tests already tried: tried replacing the door seals - no change

I’d suspect the defrost heater MEE62105201 or the defrost sensor(s) 6615JB2005R in the fridge section if you don’t seem to be having any issues in the freezer section
Check the defrost heater for continuity. You can check the sensors by placing them in a glass of ice water for 5-10 minutes to bring them down to 32°F and taking a resistance reading, should be around 30kΩ.
