Brand:Kenmore Coldspot Model Number:106.51139210 Main Symptom:no ice produced but water runs as warm What happens & when:put a glass to dispenser and get room temp water and slight sound of motor and NO ice. I am 80 yrs old and on my own tx for being here! I took a hair dryer to the entire ice maker as far as I know, and slight louder grind but no ice..ty

Let’s separate the dispensing and the ice production. If ice is in the bucket but won’t dispense, that is one thing. If there is no ice being dropped into the bucket, that is another issue. Let me know and we will move forward.
Try this, add a small amount of water manually to the icemaker and see if will harvest the ice into the bucket. If it does, the there is no water getting to the icemaker and you would need to replace the water inlet valve. If it will not harvest the ice, there could be a problem with the icemaker or possibly the temperature in the freezer.
