Brand: GE
Model Number: GSS25WGTIBB
Main Symptom: Water dispenser not working
What happens & when: When the ice chunk forms around the spigot, I just remove the control panel and use a hair dryer to melt the ice around the spigot. Secondly, the water line from the spigot to the back of the refrigerator freezes every couple of weeks. Therefore, I have to use a syringe and thin hose to insert into the spigot to flush it out with warm water from the other end of the hose. The other end of the hose is attached to the dual solenoid water inlet valve which has been replaced. I just remove the thicker hose from the valve and the water drains out after using the syringe on the other end. Finally, the ice maker leaks into the ice bucket which forms a giant ice cube at the bottom of the ice bucket. The ice maker still makes ice, but the ejector arms that push out the ice cubes sometimes gets stuck/freezes. I’m wondering if all of these issues are interconnected. Any advice?
Thanks!
