I was wondering how to use voltmeter to see if impedance/conductivity is within range. Samsung fridge error message 40 C. It says ice room fan or ice room sensor. But after flashing 40 C, the fridge doesn't really work. It won't get cold

Samsung refrigerator error message 40 C. Looking it up says ice maker room fan or ice maker room sensor. But after flashing 40 C on the display it never gets cold and the freezer won’t get cold at all. Thank you.

For this you would need to do a DC voltage check on the main control board going to the ice fan. You will be checking CN52 Pin 1 to Pin 6. There should be between 7 and 12 VDC. If there is proper voltage then either there is ice blocking the fan from turning or there is a faulty fan.
