Main Symptom:no access to heating element
What happens & when:

There appears to be no access to the heating element in this dryer. All the YouTube videos show a two piece element housing, but this only has one big spot welded heating element housing… How do I get into it to replace the heating element or inspected?

Is it possible the model number is WGD4815EW2 instead of it starting with GWD? If this is the case, the front panel would need to be removed to access the gas parts responsible for heating.
