How to take off the "Discharge Housing Assy"

Hi! I am trying to replace the impeller and the impeller seal kit, but I don’t know to remove the discharge housing assembly which covers the impeller. I unscrewed the three bolts which fasten the housing assembly, but it does not lift off. I can rotate the housing somewhat and I am afraid to lift too hard as I seem to feel a shaft or something move as I try to lift the housing assembly up. The diagram does not show any kind of connection, so I am not sure why the housing does not lift up.
Any thoughts/help would be greatly appreciated!
Kevin

This may help, at least the pump is the same.

You will have to join the site but it is free and a great resource for the appliance DIYer.

Cover should just pull off, see page 3-20

Thanks, Danman, for your help. I still can not lift off the housing. Is it OK if I bang it with a rubber hammer a bit? I saw some other postings about leaks after this type of action, so I am a bit relutant. Not sure how to proceed. Your advice would be greatly appreciated,
Kevin

It is worth a try.
