According to the manufacturer that is going to be a tight fit on the hinge, it may need some grease or other lubricant to get it on there.

The cam is hard plastic There is no way that it is going to fit over the machined pin that is wider at the top. Other models have a bolt or screw that hold the cam to the hinge. Your web site references screw #59440 as also needed. Maybe that could be used if the machined pin could be removed.

Ah, that’s what you were referring to. That pin will need to be removed, either by knocking it out with a punch or drilling it out.
