[COLOR=red]The Whirlpool elec dryer (M/N: WED5310SQ0 )has a very loud buzzer indicating the end of cycle, but no way to turn it off. Is there a wire inside the console that I can disconnect to disable the buzzer, or is it integral with some board?[/COLOR]
The buzzer relay is located inside the console. It should be the only component that has no connection to the face of the console. Usually it is black, and has a wire attached to it. Just disconnect the wire and tape the terminal so that it doesn’t come into contact with anything inside the console.
