More likely that you have a cam riser problem.
Check out Item 451 in section 3 and Items 12, 16 in Section 1.
Click on the pictures for better views.
The door rides up the cam when opening, then when closed should be on the down slope.

Also check that the unit is level front to back or leaning slightly to the back.
