Help Please On FRIGIDAIRE PLD3465REC0

I am looking for some help on this Frigidaire dishwasher.

It is not running at this time…The options buttons will not work and if it works it starts on its own. After doing some research on my own…I think I need a new Control, Electronic part (154488901). That is the part number that I think it is. If you have any input let me know.

Here is a service manual. Note that I could not find a manual for you exact Model but this one looks close to yours

Could be the control board, Item 3 in the “Control Panel” section, note it is at the bottom of the list marked as F3, but could also be other things.

First I would check the wiring hook up. Though the unit should have given a Power Failure error if that was the problem.

Next would be the door switches. Perhaps one of them is just on the edge of closing when the door is shut so it is intermittent.

Next would be the connectors in the control panel.
RIBBON CABLE CLEANING
Unplug the unit
Open it up
Remove the ribbon cable from the keypad to the control board at the control board.
Clean the edge connector.
If it is the type where there is not a connector just the insulation is removed, it can be cleaned with a pencil eraser. Do not use an ink eraser as it is too abrasive.
Check the tracks in the ribbon cable for hairline cracks. A magnifying glass helps here.
Would not hurt to clean the connector on the board. Use electronics contact cleaner or isopropyl alcohol and a tooth brush. Be gentle and do not reconnect till all the solvent evaporates.
Reconnect everything and give it a try.

GolferGuy - I have a similar problem with my dishwasher of the same model. Were you able to fix the problem? Is so, what was the solution?

Thanks,
Mike
