Not every time, but frequently after cycle is complete and dishwasher is empty, water is slowly seeping back into bottom of dishwasher. If it goes unnoticed by me then the water will spill over and seep under counter and onto the floor.
We have never had any problems with this dishwasher until now. Can anyone diagnosis this problem and how and what parts needed for repair?

Sounds like your water inlet valve is leaking and needs replacing

Thanks for quick response. Is this a repair that would be best completed by Maytag service repair? Looks like it requires pulling unit completely from cabinet and could be complicated.
Just turn the water and power off.
You should not have to pull the dishwasher. Just remove the kick plate.
Have a shallow pan handy to catch the water when you disconnect the valve hoses.
Loosen the fittings, let it drip into your pan when the pan gets close to full re-tighten the fittings empty the pan and do it again. This way you will not get water all over.
