Main Symptom:keeps blowing thermal fuse
What happens & when:After replacing thermal fuse the dryer will work and dry 6 or so loads then thermal fuse blows. Second time I replaced fuse I also replaced thermistor. Again dryer worked a few times the blew fuse again. Vent is clear, high limit thermostat has continuity.

Start by checking that the vent is a 4-inch-diameter rigid metal pipe (no plastic, vinyl, or metal-foil vent material). Check for minimal turns and length. Check to ensure the vent is clear all the way out from the blower, all the way outside. The number one cause of multiple thermal fuse failures is airflow. Next, check the wiring and element circuit for damage or shorts.
