Haier QHE02GGMBB wont turn on

Main Symptom: Won’t turn on
What happens & when: When I plug it up nothing happens. Not even a sound.

Bought this five years back and had to shut it off three years ago. Now I’m trying to set it up in my daughters room and it won’t turn on. The outlet works and tried plugging the fridge to another outlet and still nothing. Manual says the compressor should make some noise when turned on but so far nothing. I think I am just going to let it plugged in overnight and pick it back up in the morning. Inputs?

If it doesn’t turn on and cool by the morning I would just replace it. The cost of any major repairs is more than a ne unit. Plus we only have door and shelf parts available. I would hazard to guess that in the time you have had it sitting unused it has developed a sealed system issue such as a leak
