Watched several videos and one thing that stood out from the videos was that I checked the seal that goes around the refrigerator door the fresh food side or the refrigerator side of the side by side, and saw that there was a rip in the gasket seal. Ordered a new one and upon the part arriving I noticed that in the corner on one side there was a tear. When I called appliance part Pros somebody there told me it’s okay for that rip to be there yet that side of the refrigerator runs really hot now and the ice is still forming. I’m uploading some pics and I would like to know if this stuff is normal for this kind of installation. Any help would be appreciated. Some of these wrinkles I cannot get out using hot water or a hair dryer they just won’t reshape but the corner has me most concerned with that tearing it.
Call or chat and if they tell you the same thing tell them that Technician Jeff said it needs to be warranty replaced and they can come ask me
