all of the tests associated with spin, shift actuator, transmission etc.
Ran knob position 7 spin and shifter system, and it spun up at max speed no problem and stayed there until I turned it off after a few minutes.
Ok I’ve talked to a couple of other techs and we agree to have you try to run the spin test with a few wet towels in the washer. Put it under load and see what happens
OK after all of us investigating we found several videos of the exact same issue on washers that share the same motor and transmission setup as your, all doing the same thing loud clunks and inconsistent spin speeds. They advised that the transmission needs to be replaced because the inner teeth of the shaft are damaged
Funny enough, I ran a full load earlier today when it ended up just overheating and running slowly. After emptying it and leaving just 4 wet towels it did more or less fine, but any more than that it just spun super slow.
Sounds like transmission. Do you have links to those videos? Would love to see them.
I have a transmission on shipment from you guys, so will shoot to get that installed ASAP.
Regretfully we’re not allowed to send links to other websites
Missed that but it also says it should spin a lot faster than it does in the next paragraph
If you have already removed the retaining nut that is just a washer it should just slide up the shaft, of course it’s probably llocked on by corrosion
