Main Symptom: (don’t know what this means)
When I try to run the normal cycle, the “added heat” button is lit up (I can’t get it to turn off) and the dishwasher only runs the short (like, 3 minute) added heat cycle. Detergent never gets released.

Error Code (if any):
Parts or tests already tried: I’ve switched off the circuit for a few minutes. I’ve also tried to turn the added heat button off by pressing it 5 times quickly within 3 seconds.

Based on the information provided, this is a control board issue. The added heat selection should increase how long a cycle runs, not shorten it. Are there any abnormal LEDs, illuminated padlock, or codes displayed on the console?

Nothing out of the ordinary - this is what it looks like when I start it. But the normal cycle doesn’t actually run.
