You’re looking at the valve assembly WH23X29553, the dispenser assembly WH42X29535, or the main control board WH22X37840.
This model activates 2 valves on the valve assembly at the same time to direct flow through the dispenser assembly to the fabric softener chamber.
The 2 valves it activates are the main cold water valve and bleach valve.
I’m attaching the tech sheet for this model, use that to run the diagnostics mode and test those. The main cold valve is test 7, the bleach valve is 23, and the fabric softener test which activates both of them together is 8. Try running them in that order.
If one of those valves will not activate then you most likely have a bad valve assembly, but you can verify that by checking voltage at the activated valve when the corresponding test is active, you’ll be looking for about 120v AC.
If those valves are good but it doesn’t seem like water is being flushed through the softener chamber when test 8 is active then replace the dispenser assembly.
If everything tests out properly in diagnostics but doesn’t work in normal operation then replace the main control.
