GE Electric Dryer won't stay running

My GE electric dryer will start when I turn the start knob but shuts off as soon as I let go. It will run and heat as long as you stand holding the knob on.:confused:

I’m having the same problem with my wifes dryer. Did you ecer figure it out? Todd

I also am having the same problem. Did anyone find an answer to this? I even had someone come look to fix it and he wasn’t sure what to do either. Please help! Thanks, Justin:D
