Which specific control has been replaced? Also, have the wires leading from the machine control to the user control been tested for continuity?

Machine control AP7215773 was replaced,worked for 3 weeks then dishwasher control panel once again has no lights and machine will not operate.

Since the machine control was replaced, this is going to be either a user interface (least likely) or a door harness (more likely of the two) failure. If you turn the power supply off at the breaker for a minute, then turn it back on, does the touch panel operate at all? If not, the user control would need to be accessed and DC voltage tested. There should be 13.5VDC when testing from the black/green wire at pin 1 to the yellow/blue wire at pin 2 of the user interface once power is applied to the dishwasher. If voltage does show up, there is a communication issue between the two controls and it is usually an issue with the wiring harness having a hairline break in the communication wire.
