I have a leaking dishwasher, leak appeared to be coming from the water pump and motor. I installed a new impeller kit, the pump is still leaking, not as severe as before the impeller kit was installed. Does anyone know what the problem can be. The motor works ok.
Those will also leak where the drain solonoid is mounted and there is no repair on that seal When the pump seal goes out is better to replace the whole assy WD26X10013 but when you go doing that its not worth it because you can go by a dishwaswer from Lowes for the same price as repairing the machine. They are just not worth the time or hassle fixing
Could be a number of places. May even be a small crack in one of the boots.
Shut the power off and dry the underside of the unit with paper towels.
Then get a flashlight and a mirror and use these to find your leak.
Do not be satisfied just finding where it is dripping from, trace it back to where the actual leak is.
