How do I know if the Gas Valve Solenoid Coils are bad and are the cause to my dryer not heating. I tested continuity on Ignitor, Fuse, Thermstat, thermocoil, and heat sensor. All show continuity.
Woud i get a continutiy reading if I was to test from one coil to another? I currently do not get a reading and believe this is where my problem is.
What parts did you call “thermocoil” and “heat sensor”?
The power to the igniter comes through:

The cycling thermostat

The hi limit thermostat
The flame sensor

The holding and the secondary gas valve coils

All of these parts should be normally closed. The holding and booster coil (the one with the three terminals) should be checked across outer terminals.
"What parts did you call “thermocoil” and “heat sensor”? I checked all of the below that you listed below. All tested normally closed or as I call it “received a beep” from my ohm meter testing for continuity. Is this true?
The Thermal Fuse, The cycling thermostat, The hi limit thermostat, and the flame sensor all beeped/showed continuity.
If I could clarify your next statement “The holding and booster coil (the one with the three terminals) should be checked across outer terminals.” Do you mean that I shoud have continuity from the 3 tab coil over to the 2 tab coil? Because I dont receive a beep from my ohm meter when I check any combination from the three to the two tab coil.
