Front right dual burner is only heating on high temp no matter where I set it

Main Symptom: front right dual burner is only heating on highest temp, no matter where the knob is
What happens & when: every time I use the burner it is on high heat, no matter if its set on low or not. Everything was burning until I figured it out and stopped using it.
