It is possible that this could be a main control failure. However, there are some checks that can be done to verify it. At the main control, the three-wire connector can be tested for Volts DC. From the red wire to the black wire, is there 12 Volts DC consistently? If there is, unplug the power cord and then disconnect the three wires from the main control. If you plug the power cord back in, will the lights work properly when the doors are opened? Once this is identified, unplug the power cord and reconnect the wires.
