**Model Number:**LGHS2667KE0 Main Symptom:crushed ice, no cubed ice What happens & when:cube/crush solenoid was corroded and stuck so we only got crushed ice - no cubes. Replaced the solenoid and getting same result, crushed only and no cubes

If the ice bin metal arm is inspected, does it run in the middle of the plastic yoke on the solenoid or is it sitting underneath the plastic yoke? If it is underneath, the bin would need to be pulled out enough to line the metal arm into the center of the yoke. If the bin is aligned properly, the next step would be identifying if voltage is being sent to the solenoid or not. With the power cord unplugged, the main control can be pulled out from under the refrigerator enough for voltage testing purposes. Once it is pulled out enough to access the wire connection J3, plug the power cord back in. With a meter set to Volts AC, test from the blue wire with a white stripe at pin 3 to the light blue wire at connection J1 pin 2. With the meter set in place for testing, press the ice dispenser paddle while it is set to cubed ice. Does voltage show up? If not, the main control would be the likely cause of failure. If voltage does show up, the wire harness near the solenoid would need to be inspected for any damage after unplugging the power supply cord. If there is no obvious sign of damage, test the wires to the solenoid for continuity from end to end. If the wires have continuity, and voltage did show up at the main control with no response from the solenoid, or voltage not reaching the solenoid, there would likely be a wire harness failure inside the liner of the appliance. Since the auger motor itself works, we know the neutral wire is good, leaving the voltage wire as the questionable circuit.
