**Brand: frigidaire
**Model Number: fcrg3052bsd
**Main Symptom: ignitor glows but wont light What happens & when:
Brand new range but was purchased from private seller so frigidaire wasnt much help. Changed all orfices to lp using the glp5 kit from frigidaire. Went to test range after installation and the stove top lit after a few tries once gas reached things.
The oven however will click on for preheat, ignitor glows but burner never lit.
Have tried multiple times and nothing happens. The broiler element seems to work, not sure how red its supposed to get as its electric.
Error Code (if any): no codes
Parts or tests already tried: havent tried any tests yet .

When the glow bar comes on but the bake burner stays cold the gas valve is not getting enough current or gas. On this model the fix is almost always one of these two items:
Pressure regulator still set for natural gas
Remove the plastic cap on the regulator at the rear of the range. Flip the insert so the side stamped “LP” faces out, then reinstall the cap. Without this step the oven often will not light even though the surface burners do.
Bake burner orifice not converted
Pull the oven bottom and flame spreader. At the front of the burner tube is the brass orifice. Replace it with the LP spud from your GLP5 kit (or tighten the adjustable orifice all the way clockwise until it bottoms if your valve uses that style).
Let us know what you find and we can walk you through the next step.
The steps you have said have been performed and still no change . Has the #56 hood on the gas outlet per the installation manual. Just had to double check myself on that . Just snugged the hood as thats about how the original was.
Let the ignitor burn for about a minute and no burner ignition.
Kinda leary of letting it burn for much longer , Dont want an explosion .
Its so hard to get a repair tech out here where we live . We have it under our home warranty plan too but get the same outta them.
So any repair man close to kirkland az wanna help a feller out as im not sure what else to do at this point.
Shouldnt be any issues with it as its a brand new stove fresh out of the box.
But i know how that is these days.
Ill await your next move and i appreciate the help Roman.
If there is a way we could video call with one another that may help. Not sure if i can post my number here.
Hello, based on what information has been provided, the igniter is the cause of failure. Safety valves, while they can fail, very rarely do. Since the igniter is glowing, that tells us voltage is present, and gas getting to the top says gas is present. By process of elimination, it would boil down to the igniter not drawing enough current to send the proper voltage to the safety valve to get it to open. Replacing the igniter should correct the issue. Here is a link to the item information page where there is also a how-to video that can be used as a repair reference.
