Frigidaire element "er " wont do anything

won’t fill or run, wife says she heard a pop? any how any help would be great. thank you

Do you notice any smells from the unit, any debris in the unit or outside the unit, and any error codes on the display? You could have had the control board pop and become faulty, the heating element could have cracked, you could even have had the electrical power supply pop in the unit. It is hard to diagnose over the internet or phone without being in front of the unit.

thank you for your reply, i pluged it back in and all seems fine ? " hard reset" anyhow i will rubn it until it stops again then i will look into doing the control board.
