Frigidaire Dishwasher fills, and drains normally but no wash

Thanks in advance for your help. I have searched the forum for a case like mine, but found none that offered an answer so far.

My Fridigaire FDBS95C0 fills normally, then sits silent when it should be washing, then drains normally.

The motor makes no noise whatsoever during the wash cycle.

I pulled the motor and applied some power to it and it turns just fine. While putting it back, I noticed that the resettable thermostat has a black plug going into it. I think it is black from heat - because the other terminal has nice white plastic on it - unlike the other one.

Could this thermostat be causing the non-wash problem?

The float clicks just fine, so I assume it works. All else looks normal - except for the plug going into the thermostat.

Thanks again for the help! My wife is not happy that the repair shop can’t come for a few more days - so I dug in there myself.

I could not find info on the given model number but did find info on a FDBS95CC0

Here is the tech sheet

The thermostat is in the heater circuit not the motor circuit but a problem here may have blown the board.

Take a look at the tech sheet for this problem.
Try running the diagnostics (Water/Service Test).
