Fridge stuck in demo mode after installing new control board for power outage error

Main Symptom: Our fridge was having issues randomly turning off with a “Power Outage” error. It had stopped cooling. You could here it trying to kick on but after about 10 seconds it would stop and present the error and beeping noise. Was recommended by a repair place to replace the main control board. Once installed, the fridge is now stuck in demo mode. I tried all the button codes (pressing up and down arrows at the same time) and they are unresponsive. With the old board, all of this functions normally and I am able to take the fridge in and out of demo mode without issue.
What happens & when: Fridge errors out with “power outage” error every 5 minutes, but all displays work. New part install has it premianately in demo mode.

Error Code (if any): Power Outage
Parts or tests already tried: New control board for the model per the website. Tried multiple different button codes to take it out of demo mode.

Thank you for sending! I did already try these as well as pretty much any other possible code I could find. I get no response at all from the fridge. When I put the old one back in, I am able to use these codes, but the new one doesn’t do anything.

Possible bad parts then?

I replaced the control board as receommended to me, but that only made things worse. I have moved on to maybe the start relay? but am having trouble getting the plastic case open
