Freezer is cooling ok- top shelves in fridge ok, lower shelves in fridge too warm

Maytag side by side refrigerator- not cooling properly on lower shelves.
Freezer is ok, top shelves at ok temp- lower shelves are too warm- 5 to 6 degrees difference from the top shelves. Service tech came and said everything seemed to look ok/be working ok and that maybe it was because I had a few grocery bags in the refrigerator- possibly impeding air flow. Removed the grocery bags- still having the issue! Fan is blowing cold air in from freezer but apparently not circulating correctly as it is not cooling the whole refrigerator. It’s like the air “intake” vent down lower in the refrigerator(by the warmer shelves) isn’t pulling in the air? Any ideas?

Thank you for your question. It would be recommended that the intake vent at the bottom is checked to see if it may be partially blocked with ice. This can occur on the freezer side of the vent. If it is clear, the next step would be using a dollar bill at the bottom of the refrigerator door to check for an air leak. With the dollar in between the door gasket and liner, there should be a small resistance when pulling the dollar out. If there is no resistance at any portion of the gasket, there is a very small air leak that can commonly be corrected by cleaning the liner and using a hair dryer on the gasket.
