Does it come back on?
Gene.
I check it today and actually the flame does come back on then turns off in about one minute then keeps doing the same on and off
If not the coils then the problem can be restricted air flow through the dryer air ducts and/or vent line.

where is the gas valve coil located? what tools will I need?
They are located on top of the gas valve. You have to remove the front panel to access them. No special tools needed.

Dear Gene, I’m a little confused still, the part number you gave me was different than the part order # when I clicked on the website. So, do I have to replace all 3 coils?

Yes, I do recommend to replace them all. It would make the repair more reliable.

dear gene, I instlalled all 3 gas valve coils as you recommmend. now, the flame only stays on for about 7 seconds then goes out and comes back on in about 2 minutes.please let me know whats up. thanks again, yahshua
Yahshua,
Sounds like there is obstructed air flow through the dryer and/or vent. I would check the blower wheel and its housing, the air ducts inside the dryer and the whole vent line from the dryer through the outlet flopper.
Gene.
P.S. Have you the door closed when you tested the dryer?
Dear Gene, you were correct about testing the dryer with the door off. I placed it back on and it works great. Thanks again. May Yahweh (God) bless you and yours
You are welcome. I’m glad you were able to fix it. Thank you for good words and good luck with your dryer.
