The problem is trying to cross reference it back to the original manufacturer and then trying to find tech info on that unit.
Note: I have never worked on coin op units so the info is just general info.
Hopefully someone with experience fixing these things will jump in.
You did not say but does the unit run continuously and never shut off (no timer advance)?
If this is the case it could be that the unit is running in an auto mode.
In auto many units get power to the timer through the heating coil when it shuts off. Perhaps it is never shutting off and therefore no timer advance.
A common cause of this is a grounded element.
Check the heating coil.
Unplug the unit and both wires to the coil.
Check it with a meter, should be around 10 to 12 ohms.
Then check from each side of the coil to the case/frame, both should be infinite ohms (open). If not the coil may have sagged or broken and is touching the case. This can cause it to run all the time.
Other units have a moisture sensor which may be dirty or the moisture board may be shot.
If the unit runs in a timed dry mode and does advance/shut off then I would suspect the timer though it may also be a grounded element.
