I tested the theromstats and think they are good but am not sure. plus i dont know where to latch the spring back down for the tensioner on the belt. it was off when i pulled the back panel off. please help! I have 5 kids and the clothes are piling up fast!!!

The tensioner spring being off may be your only problem.
The unit has a belt switch (Item 1349 in Section 4) which will kill power.
Here are couple links that should help you put it back on.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. Turns out the fuse i purchased and installed first was bad. Who would have thought to check the brand new fuse?! the dryer is up and working and the mountain of dirty clothes is dwindling.
