Dryer stops running after 20 seconds

I starting the dryer and it starts to heat and run fine, but after about 20 seconds it shuts off. I wait a while and restart and get the same result.

Sounds like an overheating motor,

you may want to replace the drum belt, as well,

AP6009126

You will also need to check and clean the exhaust, and venting for holes and loose fitting parts.
(that’s what usually causes the problem, lint in or on the motor).
