Dryer shorted out- no power at all

I recently moved the dryer into the basement, got it hooked up and all was good for a few seconds. Then I heard a something from the fuse box and the power in the dryer went out completely. Found out the ground wire was bare and exposed-- apparently it shorted (the copper was nice and black) but didn’t trip the breaker.

Now nothing is working. Does anyone know if there is a fuse in this model or what i can try prior to calling a technician or what part I should test first?

Here is the tech sheet

Since the unit is totally dead the electronic power supply is at the top of the possible causes.

i appreciate the tech sheet- they recommend replacing the machine control electronics- do you know if there is a way to test that part. Trial and error with electronics can get expensive.

If it is totally dead there are no automatic checks that can be run.

All you can do is check that that the board is receiving power with a meter.
If yes, then the control board is at the top of the list

Thanks for the help. Checked the power going into the board and it was fine. The replacement should be here next week- Hopefully it’s the problem.
