Brand: Roper Model Number: RED4640YQ1 Main Symptom: Dryer heats sometimes. What happens & when: I can run a load and it dries and run another load, and it doesn’t even heat up. I keep the lint trap and exhaust very clean. I’ve replaced the following with OEM parts from APP.com : Heating Element, Dryer Repair Kit, Felt Drum Seal, and Front Panel Felt Seal. Dryer tumbles well and quietly (now with the new parts!). Why doesn’t heat each time using the same setting?
Error Code (if any): N/A
Parts or tests already tried: Heating Element, Dryer Repair Kit, Felt Drum Seal, and Front Panel Felt Seal

It has happened with cool down times between loads. I generally use the “timed cycle" which is a high heat cycle. But I have used the other cycles which includes low heat cycle and another high heat cycle.
More than likely a bad timer as these are known to do exactly what is happen to you.Contacts in timer are cheaply made and become pitted and open up under a load as in back to back loads of laundry! here is the tech sheet!
