Push dryer button and you can feel the dryer get hot, but isn’t tumbling. Belt intact. Fuses? Start button assembly? HELP!!!

Based on your post,
I’m thinking several possibilities, at this point:
a) Wire to heater element, shorted to chassis ground.
b) Heater element shorted to the element housing.
c) The heat circuit contacts in the motor switch are stuck closed.
Do you have a multi meter to test the circuits, and if, needed voltage ?
You’ll need to dismantle the dryer, for easier access to all the components you need to test, will you need more assistance ?
