The dryer heats and spins but won’t dry. We’ve checked everywhere for lint, took off the panel, opened the cover to the fan, and it appears that the bolt/rod in the center of the fan spins, but the fan itself doesn’t. Did a piece break off that now makes the fan sit loosely on the center piece? It made a lot of noise right before it stopped working, like a motorcycle. We can’t figure out how we would remove the fan or what part of it might need to repaired. Help…

On this particular model, do we have to take out the drum to replace the blower wheel? Is there some other way to take the old wheel off of the axel?
