I have an older Crosley dryer (CDG20T8W) that has worked wonderfully (with plenty of maintenance). Now it is buzzing when I try to start it and sometimes the motor works and sometimes it doesn’t turn on. Based on what I’ve read, it is either the motor or the motor switch. How can I tell which? What does the motor switch do?

Here is how I check for a bad motor, you may need an extra hand to do this , I use my foot to turn the tub it just takes a little turn , anyway open the door , hold the door switch in and at the same time hold the start button in and turn the tub , if the dryer takes off running your start windings are bad and the motor [part][COLOR=#0066cc]AP5272116[/COLOR][/part] thank you and good luck !
