Does not drain

  1. Motor does not turn on. When cycling through various selection options and pressing corrospondng buttons, motor will not turn on. At the “pots/pans” option, you hear a motor hum but it will not start.

  2. About 2" of water is standing in base of dishwasher. Does not drain.

Suggestions would be appreciated.

Sounds like a bad motor relay or motor, as best I can tell.

And the motor pump assembly has been discontinued by the manufacturer.

There’s not a lot of technical information, or parts for a unit this old,

But that’s where I’d start, were it me.
