dishwasher fill pause and start to wash then stop pause then start to wash and stop then shut down need help whats wrong

How long were the time intervals for wash and pause?

Did it show anything on the control panel like blinking lights?

no lights shut off on third time , start to wash about 3sec stop for 3sec start 3sec the stop for 3sec then light out.hit cancal will drain.but what seem like on third try of washing it lock out light out nothing untill you turn power off and restart it again i think its control board thank gene

3sec each on third try lights go out nothing but if you hit can it will drain

Measure the current drawn by the motor when it’s running.

If the reading is around 2.5 amps, replace the control board.

If the reading is different, replace the pump & motor assembly.
