I have ordered and received a new gasket. I installed it but the water is still pouring out. I notice that two sides of the gasket are puffy and the other two sides have ridges. Which sice should I place into the groove. Also, it seems that only the ridged side will fit into the tiny opening at the bottom of the grove. Is it possible that I pushed the gasket in too tight since it is still leaking, or could it be a completely different problem. The customer service at AppliancePartsPros is wonderful.![]()
I do not know which gasket you are referring to so I am not sure I can help.
Also it often makes installation of gaskets go a lot easier if you give them a very light coating of plumbers or white lithium grease.

You have to join the site to download the manual but it is free and this is a very good site for manuals and other info for the appliance repair DIYer.
