Soap dispenser cover won’t stay closed. How do I repair or replace?
Inside the door there is sound insulation, over time this insulation will slip down the inside of the door. Sometimes this will cause the soap cup not to close properly. Remove the screws all the way around the inside of the door then lift the inside half of the door up and you should be able to see if this insulation is causing your problem. If so remove it and your problem will be fixed.
I don’t think insulation is the problem. The soap dispenser cover closes ok but won’t stay locked in the closed position. It is supposed to stay closed until tripped open at the proper stage of the timer cycle.

Also there is a spring at the timer that can be broken causing this problem. In any case you will have to take the inter door off to see.
