Water is coming out of the water inlet system. ( There’s is a drilled hole top right corner). It appears the water level switch is not working. How does this work.

when you say that water is coming out of the water inlet system , do you mean even when the d/w is not running ? or do you mean that water is coming out of the inlet valve ? winter time / cold weather can freeze water lines and crack inlet valves..
